Spearmint
w/Tree Moss
We make
this soap occasionally, with tree moss gathered from the
Sierra foothills of California. The moss is a
traditional plant dye used by Native Americans in
basketry and quilting, and the color holds fine in
handmade, cold-process soap. Here, we are making a fresh
batch at a recent soap class.
All-natural, made w/spearmint and rosemary essential
oils. The moss makes it a little scrubby, but not
scratchy.
